Yes, its my 3rd year living in New Zealand, I am now eligible for citizenship and the dole, hahahahha! Just a normal day, I worked from home doing some programming, met a mate for lunch at Mecca.

I took this shot of Trevor Moss Memorial Fountain this morning… It had to brighten up a bit, I find that the morning colours can be a bit gawdy though –

This shot below was taken at sunset at Bastion Point. Its actually two exposures. The first is the forground of light green grass, the second is the the dark sky. I took the grass at a lighter exposure, and the sky as darker exposure and fused the pictures:

About 3 months delayed, but I have finally got my Australian Photographs online! All apologies for the few folks who visit my blog and wonder where I have been.

Pretty bad I know, but its just old fashioned trans tasman humour you can find on my latest web project. Yes, I have been quite been quite busy with my new job venture, I have been developing a New Zealand Car Hire website the designed especially for Aussies… who like to take the mickey out kiwis. It was a very fun project to work on, so check it out if you are interested.

I’ve had a photograph of mine painted
as an oil painting and sold for about $700 NZD. Unfortunately, this has
happened at a bad time in my life, in short I was too busy to
follow up on this; I had other very important things in my life going
on at the time.

Good news, there were some very awesome folks at New Zealand Scam Busters who came to the rescue. This is an email I got from one of the members today:

There is some good news in this; though I am quite not sure if it was a direct result from this, I did sell a
couple of photographs the past week.

These are a couple of shots from the Kumeu Country show and carnival two weekends ago. I quite like these shots – they are a bit different from my run of the mill landscape shots.
