Electric Blue Aura(10/28/2009)-Here’s another classic example of Polaroid light leaks. Its these imperfections that I love about film, especially polaroids. Though I shoot digital, the results can be rather sterile when compared to polaroids. Shot on FP-100c gloss.
Heaven let your light leaks down(10/28/2009)-The EE100 Special Polaroid camera I own has alot of light leaks – I typically use a black t-shirt sleave to block out the leaks from the bellows of the camera. Sometimes they still get through. Here is an example of some unintentional (but perhaps artistic) light leaks from this camera. This was shot on […]
Cloud Factory(10/25/2009)-Here’s another Polaroid Blue Film – this is the Glenbrook Steel Mill (they suck out iron sand and make it into metal) However, it looks more like a cloud factory to me 🙂
Blue Church(10/25/2009)-I bought a pack of polaroid ‘blue film’ last year. Its a very interesting film. Here’s a shot I took today of a small church on the Awhitu Peninsula:
Warming up(10/4/2009)-The barrel is actually an old battery I found at the beach. Unfortunately the figure in the trench coach got a bit singed when the wind blew the fire in his direction!
Push it, push it real good.(10/4/2009)-On of the drawbacks of driving 1/18 scale vehicles on New Zealand beaches is that they can get stuck in the mud or sand. This fellow is putting in a mighty effort to push it out…
On a chain(10/4/2009)-Abseiling is more fun in miniature form…
Hit and Run # 1(10/4/2009)-This weekends photo shoot features a 1/18 Truck and nasty hit and run incident…
Hit and Run # 2(10/4/2009)-This weekend’s photo outing featured 1/18 Truck and a hit and run victim.
The Right Click(10/1/2009)-This shot was taken at Manukau Heads, with 600 film, plus a computer mouse
Choppers(9/27/2009)-This both a negative transfer to photopaper and the original using ID-UV film on my EE100 special.
Pulling a chain(9/27/2009)-This both a negative transfer to photopaper and the original using ID-UV film on my EE100 special. The transfer turned out a bit darker on this.
Model Shoot at the Falls(9/27/2009)-This both a negative transfer to photopaper and the original using ID-UV film on my EE100 special. A blonde figurine was the model.
The Airstream Holiday(9/27/2009)-This both a negative transfer to photopaper and the original using ID-UV film on my EE100 special. A model airstream was used for this shot.
Blonde on Beach(9/27/2009)-This both a negative transfer to photopaper and the original using ID-UV film on my EE100 special. A little blonde figurine is the model.
In Chains(9/27/2009)-This both a negative transfer to photopaper and the original using ID-UV film on my EE100 special.
Polaroid Transfers to Photo Paper(9/27/2009)-Earlier I wrote about transferring the polaroid negative to photopaper – here I’ll expand upon it a bit. I have now done a few batches – the ‘dry transfers’ – slapping the negative onto photopaper and peeling them back later – have been largely unsuccessful. However, wet transfers have gone very well. I like this […]
Shallow Grave(9/21/2009)-Shot a Karaka Bay, with EE100 and 125i Film. Click to enlarge.
