When I was 10, we had a laser show in our gymnasium (it was the 1980s) . They played ‘Lucy in the sky with Diamonds’ and explained about the discovery of the oldest human skeleton in Africa. Between the music, light and this new knowledge, I had a strange but beautiful existential moment of being connected to everything in the universe.

The rare New Zealand fledgehog protects itself with a soft and dandering down. Its squishy form could resist the strongest blows of cricket bats and being stepped on by the heaviest of persons.
