Don McLean – the mountain (not the songwriter!)

Don McLean Mountain has lovely views of Manukau harbour. Here you can see both sides of Manukau Heads, the Awhitu end and the Whatipu end. Just mind the maniacal kiwi drivers who drive 100 k/h on loose gravel, narrow gauge mountian roads!

    Wow. Those photos are so very beautiful. The first one is so beautiful that you wonder if a place that lovely could exist (obviously it does!) It looks like paradise…and I thought the Blue Mountains were gorgeous – I think they have strong competition! heh
